Default Do Healing Penalties Stack?

There are a number of spells/conditions that state that it will reduce any attempt to heal a foe by some percentage.

Deep Wound

Description If a target needs to be dead sooner rather than later, deep wound is the right tool for the job. When a target suffers a deep wound, they lose life equal to 20% of their maximum, which doesn't return until the deep wound is removed. Healing directed at the victim is reduced by a similar amount. The victim regains all health lost to a deep wound once it expires, so finishing them off before that happens should be a high priority. As such, deep wounds are maximized in focus fire situations and act as distractions otherwise.

Malign Intervention

Description For 5-17 seconds target foe recieves 20% less benefit from healing. If target foe dies while hexed with Malign Intervention a level 1-14 masterless Bone Horror is summon.

Defile Flesh

Description Sacrifice 20% max Health. For 8-18 seconds, target foe receives only two-thirds benefit from healing

Do these penalties stack? In other words, if I were to inflict a deep wound AND cast both Malign and Defile on a foe, would any attempt to heal them be reduced by 73%?

Sorry if this has been asked before...

Thats a pretty good question and I'm affraid I can't awnser it. I never knew that Deep wound reduces the healing. When I hold my mouse arrow above the deep wound picture it just sais: Reduces Maximum Health by 20%. Does a deep wound really decrease the amount of healing?
Sorry I can't awnser your question... People help us out.

Yes it does, I always get 20% less healing from my sig when I have one of these nasty things.
Another great example that it is far better to give than to recieve

Jetdoc; Not really sure about that answer my guess would be that they stack as they are all different effects but that would only be a guess

i assume it works like other skills...you get the 20% from deep wound, then from the remaining healing, 20% is then deducted...again, its a guess.

Lingering Curse also reduces healing, but I don't know about stacking.

They stack up to a 66% reduction in healing.

Also I am sure they would stack just like everything else
(these are actually found by multiplying by .8 or 80%...the remaining amount, not subtracting .2)

100% - 20% = 80%

80% - 20% = 64%

64% - 20% = 51.2%

51.2% - 20% = 40.96%

40.96% - 20% = 32.768% which is above the 66% less benifit from healing TheArrow spoke of (I cannot confirm or deny that this exists)

Can anyone else find an article confirming this? I'm tempted to do some tests, but it's really irratic doing it solo. It's almost you like you have to find a monster that heals the same damage (maybe via healing signet) and test it out that way. Either that or find 2 PvPers willing to do the experiment.

if you want to find the max have lingering curse in the mix (necro elite) - knocks it down to 50% right there - work from there.

will be interesting to test... hmm training area, plop stuff on, try heal area?
unless that has its own rules (it didn't TARGET you but it did HEAL you...)
